Giclee printing involves no screens or other mechanical devices which leaves the print with no visible dot screen pattern. Giclee was given its name from the French word meaning a spurt or spray of liquid. This is exactly what a giclee print is, the machine sprays the ink to form print. Giclee printers are made by the bigger printer manufactures. The printers can typically use 8 or 12 color ink jets. We at 1of1 Printing are now using a Epson 9880 printer.
