1of1 Printing started out as a favor and has turned into a custom printing company. Years ago I started to print the color proofs for DC colour artist David Baron. I had been printing my own custom prints for years and when David asked me to create single prints from his comic files so that he could check the color, I agreed. Each print was converted from Davids file using Adobe Photoshop to closely match the original colors and these custom single prints were printed for David’s personal portfolio and only one print of each piece was ever made.
I continued to print my own work and added Ted Washington as a client when I showed him that it was possible to create a stunning black and white prints using custom color profiles and fine art papers on the Epson line of professional printers. I have done two limited edition print runs for Ted and both have been very successful.
The first prints were created on an Epson Stylus Pro 4000 Professional printer, which after many years of great service was finally retired in 2008 when an Epson 9880 was purchased.
